LEARNER LICENCE DRIVERS – prepare for your Restricted Licence test
The first lesson is a driving evaluation which will determine how many lessons you may need. Most drivers need 8-10 lessons from the first time they drive a car - some need more and some need less. Our professional driving instructor will provide an overview of your driving skills against what is required to sit the NZTA Restricted Licence test.

Complete a 1-hour pre-test driving evaluation with our professional driving instructor and get advice for sitting the NZTA Full Licence test. We may recommend 1 – 2 further lessons or advise practice tips before the NZTA Full Licence Test. Get your full licence sooner with our priority booking with VTNZ for NZTA testing times.
